Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since her teen years she's embraced the edges of popular and traditional music. She also is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, soul and trap. Her voice has been described by no less a talent than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp however with a bit of bite similar to those of the past. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually winning the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The album was released in on March 20, 2022 following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the track Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman to receive both awards.
